To be socially responsible, we made ourselves accountable and adopted such CR&S Programs to grow our business to the point where we can give back to society.
Our CR&S initiatives are categorized into the following to ensure the development of each segment of society. The Company plans to work with the communities as we consider our communities as Partners in Progress. We will do different Health education, and livelihood projects with the community to empower women, youth, and farmers in the community. The initiatives would include Notebook distribution in school, scholarships for students, the panchayat community library to be renovated, etc...
A Critical Control Point (CCP) system is in place to ensure the highest quality of cashews. Strict hygienic environment, machines, and work processes during the processing of nuts. Processing time from steaming to the packaging of finished products is strictly less than 12 days Fumigation before tin & Flexi packing infused with CO2+ Nitrogen gas.
We ensure the best working conditions for 1000+ workers. Education support and training to hardworking rural women and their families so that they earn a sustainable income. A water treatment plant provides pure drinking water for all workers. Free healthy & hygienic food is served in the canteen throughout the day. As a part of Women Empowerment 70% of workers are female and, our efforts focused on the overall development of Society.
We use Environmentally friendly processing technology. We also undertake efficient, waste-free energy initiatives. We recycle the cashew nut wood & shell cake to burn the boiler in place of coal as a cleaner and greener alternative to coal. This allows us to save about 7000 MT of coal per annum. CNSL (Cashew Nut Shell Liquid) has innumerable applications and we have built processes to safely collect it.

Valency Agro, in partnership with the District Health and Family Welfare Department, is organized a free health camp for factory workers in Udipi. This CSR initiative strives to put the welfare of our workers first while also benefiting the community. The health camp will include general health examinations, medical advice, and required diagnostic procedures. Additionally, health awareness training is provided to staff members to inform them of safety precautions and healthy living choices. We are dedicated to establishing a culture of well-being within the community and advancing the health and happiness of our workers....
With the objective of encouraging education, we at Valency Agro Pvt. Ltd. CR&S Division has successfully renovated a public library in Santhekatte - Kalthur, Karnataka. Our effort is to enhance everyone's knowledge. This newly renovated public library will enable the resident people to learn and grow together. SCHOOL’ CR&S DIVISION INDIA With the objective of encouraging children in schools and in line with the SDG on Education, we at Valency Agro Pvt. Ltd. (A subsidiary of Valency International Pte. Ltd.) CR&S Division recognized 21 Bright students in one of the Government schools in SantheKatte, Hebri. Three best students from each class till standard Seven were chosen by the school management based on academic, cultural, sports, and other school activities....
As a token of appreciation, Nikhil recognized these students with a school kit and a certificate. The objective of this event was to encourage bright students and give a positive message to the community about the importance of education. This also inculcated the spirit of healthy competition so that other students also get motivated to perform well in their academic curriculum in the coming time. The event which was organized by the corporate responsibility and sustainability division was highly appreciated by the local representatives (Panchayat members) and the school management. The event was attended by the Factory Manager, CR&S coordinator from the company beside local representatives and community members.As committed towards contributions to the society and community, the first free Health Camp was organized on October 28th,2021 by the Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability Division of Valency Agro Pvt Ltd- a subsidiary of Valency International, Singapore in Village Kalthur, Hebri, Udupi Dist. The camp was organized in partnership with the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Karnataka. all Panchayat members appreciated the health camp being organized by the company and appreciated the company gesture to carry out different community initiatives in the future. Valency Agro representatives promised to hold many more initiatives in times to come for the communities. About 111 people of which 78 males and 33 women were checked free of cost and were given free medicines in the given camp. The company also organized free transport/buses to bring patients at ease. The communities appreciated the health camp organized by the company.

Higher Primary School at Hebri on the 26th of September 2022. The program's main goal was to raise awareness about the importance of protecting our environment's health through air, water, and land....
We at Valency Agro, feel it is our duty to spread awareness in the community to protect nature from the hazardous pollution which is why we organized the World Environmental Health Day Program. The need of the hour is to prepare the children of today for climate change and the improbable events that can occur owing to the global warming. The children of the Govt. Higher Primary School at Hebri were asked to prepare a project on environmental health issues.The best projects were given a prize and a certificate. From 1st grade to 8th grade, children participated in the competition. The competition was organised in four batches, and prizes were awarded accordingly.At the formal function, Mr.Anil Kumar(RFO(Range Forest Officer), Hebri Division and our factory forest incharge), Dr. Santhosh(CHC(Community Health Centre) incharge, Hebri Taluk),Mrs. Champaka School HM, and Arvind Sir(Nikihil Management) were present. Initially, we had a formal function at the at the factory, RFO and Nikhil Management planted a tree as a symbol of the occasion, followed by a school program. The program was well appreciated by all the officials. In the coming days, RFO has promised to join us in a variety of social initiatives in coming days. Dr. Santonsh was appreciated by social initiative. Though he was not in our factory jurisdiction, the Nikhil factory initiative during COVID time was well appreciated and he’s been a guide and support to any of our health-related initiatives.The school management was very happy with our initiative wherein the school children gained knowledge on environmental health and got an opportunity to participate in a competition, which had never happened in the history of the school. Arvind Sir from factory management was genuinely surprised by the school children's creativity and their intellect, which showed in their projects. Sir wished the children all the very best for their future endeavors.On 26th Sep 2022, CR&S Division India organised As a CR&S initiative, it’s our duty to spread awareness in the community to protect nature from hazardous pollution. With the help of doctors and their team, the drive was successfully completed by vaccinating all present employees.

The primary goal of the campaign was to raise awareness among individuals from various and primarily deprived backgrounds about the concerns related to vision and proper eye care, many needy individuals were examined, and accordingly, free medical supplies and other utilities such - as eye drops(52), and spectacles(26) at discounted cost were donated to the deserved individuals by Mrs.Shobha (VP, Nalkur Gram Panchayat), who was delegated by the president to represent the panchayat. Also, The medical camp offered to treat cataract surgery to a total of 13 ill patients, totally free of cost.”
CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION AT GOVT.HIGHER PRIMARY SCHOOL, NALKUR.
The CR&S Division hosted a children's celebration on November 14, 2022, at the Govt. Higher Primary School in Nalkur. On the occasion of Children’s Day, CR&S Division requested that school management to organise different activities for children. The children enjoyed participating in all the activities. Participants in the program were people with disabilities from the Hebri Division of the Hebri Taluk Panchayath. The chief guests were Mr. Ganaraj, our Factory Manager, Mrs. Rathna, Udupi District Disability Officer for the Government of Karnataka, Taluk Co-ordinator for the Hebri Division of Hebri Taluk, and Mrs. Manjula....
The goal of this initiative is to recognize "World Disability Day" and examine the potential for hiring PWDs who are capable of working in our factory. Information about every attendee has been gathered; once all preparations for the PWDs have been made in the factory, our team will get in touch with them and begin recruiting. Department representatives praised our initiative and promised to support us in all of our upcoming endeavors. Time to encourage dignity, freedom, and justice among all!!

Valency Agro Private Limited's "Engagement Committee Division" organized the Valency International Premier League - Season 1 in India. Mr. D K Verma's Team "Valency Warriors" won the match. This cricket league included four teams headed by Mr. Sanjay Pandey, Mr. Abhishek Mishra, Mr. Chandrashekhar & Mr. DK Verma. Finals for the trophy included three matches and one final super over.
Man of the match, tournament, best batsman, bowler, and fielder were all awarded trophies along with medals to the winning team. Families of participants were also present to cheer on the players. Mr. Basba Nand Balodi and Mr. Pradeep Maheshwari of Valency International Pte. Ltd. distributed the trophies. All players were entertained with breakfast/lunch and refreshments.
