Ingredients to include:
Dry Fruits Panjiri Recipe – A Healthy & Delicious Maha Shivratri Prasad
- 1 cup whole wheat flour (atta)
- ½ cup ghee
- ½ cup powdered sugar (or jaggery)
- ¼ cup almonds (chopped)
- ¼ cup cashews (chopped)
- ¼ cup walnuts (chopped)
- 2 tbsp pistachios (chopped)
- 2 tbsp raisins
- 2 tbsp melon seeds
- 2 tbsp gond (edible gum)
- 2 tbsp dry coconut (grated)
- 1 tsp poppy seeds (khus khus)
- 1 tsp fennel seeds (saunf)
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
Steps to Prepare Dry Fruits Panjiri:-
- Step 1:- Heat Ghee & Fry Gond –In a heavy pan or Kadhai, heat ghee and fry gond until it puffs
up. Crush it coarsely and keep it aside.
- Step 2:- Roast Nuts & Seeds – In the same pan or Kadhai, roast almonds, cashews, walnuts,
pistachios, melon seeds, and raisins for 2-3 minutes. Set aside.
- Step 3:- Roast Flour – – Add more ghee if needed and roast the wheat flour on low heat until
golden brown and aromatic.
- Step 4:- Mix Everything –Add roasted dry fruits, gond, poppy seeds, fennel seeds, and grated
coconut. Mix well.
